We begin at the Yamuna Ghat, exploring the river's significance in Hindu belief and daily life through conversations with local residents. Next, we visit a cow shelter to understand the animal's spiritual and cultural importance, and the ways faith and politics often intersect in contemporary India.
After a refreshing cup of tea, we enter a decades-old Akhada, where wrestlers continue a tradition deeply rooted in Indian mythology. Meet the athletes, learn about the sport's history, and discuss the growing role of women in a field once dominated by men.
Following a local breakfast snack, we explore Delhi's transformation over the years before arriving at a treasure trove of old books and manuscripts. As they are active public spaces, guests may notice crowds, noise, and surroundings that can feel less polished than monument sites. We see this as part of the city’s raw charm and living heritage, offering a real and meaningful window into local life.
- Billing is based on the number of guests booked, not actual attendance, and any changes must be communicated at least 24 hours prior to the tour as all experience components are pre-booked on confirmed pax.
Cancellation policy
- If the tour is cancelled within 7 days of the commencement of the tour: we will charge a 100% cancellation fee.
- If the tour is cancelled within 8 to 14 days of the commencement of the tour: we will charge a 50% cancellation fee.
- If the tour is cancelled 15 days before the commencement of the tour: there will be no retention.
