Ideal for
Cultural Travellers, First-time travellers
Step into the fascinating world of Shahjahanabad, better known as Old Delhi, where centuries of history, culture, and commerce continue to thrive. Beyond its historical significance, the area stands as a remarkable example of the diverse communities that have lived and worked together here for generations.
We begin with a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk, exploring the story of the Mughal capital founded in the 17th century and the syncretic culture that continues to shape its character.
Enjoy a traditional lunch at the iconic Paranthe Wali Gali, famous for its inventive stuffed paranthas and enduring place in Old Delhi's culinary landscape.
At Khari Baoli, Asia's largest spice market, immerse yourself in a world of colours, aromas, and flavours. Sip a cup of chai while discovering how spices continue to influence everyday life and cuisine.
As we weave through the bustling lanes of Old Delhi, we pass vibrant markets such as Dariba Kalan, renowned for its jewellery and traditional crafts, before arriving at Jama Masjid, one of the city's most magnificent landmarks.
A highlight of the experience is a hands-on session with one of Delhi's few remaining calligraphy artists. Learn the basics of this fading art form and create your own keepsake in Urdu, a language long celebrated for its beauty and poetry. We conclude the journey over a comforting cup of chai.
Join us for an immersive exploration of Old Delhi, where history, food, traditions, and living heritage come together in unforgettable ways.
