As you stroll through the winding streets of Worli Village, you'll encounter a fascinating legend about a talking goddess. According to local belief, the goddess of Worli village communicates with her devotees through a chosen individual who acts as her medium. This unique phenomenon has captivated the hearts and minds of the villagers for generations.

Marvel at the blend of cultures as Hindu and Muslim places of worship showcase stunning architecture. Don't miss the quirky twist in the cemetery, offering insights into the community's customs surrounding life and death.
You’ll meet members of the community going about their daily routines as we walk towards the 17th-century fort within the village. From its ancient ramparts, enjoy breathtaking views where old-world charm meets modern marvels like the Bandra-Worli Sea Link.
We then head to the buzzing fishing pier, the heart of the Koli community’s livelihood. Learn about their fishing techniques, trade dynamics, and the important role of women in this thriving industry.

As you meander through these lanes, you’ll witness a wonderful cultural sight: women showcasing and marketing their freshly caught fish. It’s a vibrant and lively atmosphere that truly captures the essence of the community’s heritage.
