Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya, commonly known as CSMVS Museum is one of the oldest Museums that houses both tangible and intangible heritage. The emergence of the Museum was due to the collective efforts of the prominent people of Bombay. Not just the objects but also the building is quite special. Our journey starts with understanding the origin of the Museum and its grandiose architecture. Following a deep dive into the concept of inscription and unusual temple grants. Unravel the intricate symbols and the artistic expressions that breathe life into the divine forms of Hindu, Jain and Buddhist religious sculptures present in the Indian Sculpture Gallery. 

The Miniature Paintings Gallery will amaze you with its intricate design while the Indian Decorative Art Gallery will take you to the world of Indian craftsmanship, where art meets religion. Soon we will teleport ourselves to a Tibetan Monastery, where the air is filled with the ancient chants and tantric wisdom. After navigating through the Money and Jewelry Gallery we will land in the Textile Gallery to discover how each woven piece holds tales of devotion.
